About The Position

Bridgestone Americas, Inc. (BSAM) is seeking a Lead Process Engineer to join their team in Nashville, TN. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing new or revised processes within the manufacturing environment. This role involves setting corporate standards, managing budgets related to equipment, and addressing Direct Material Loss Ratio, Waste, and Scrap Impacts. The position requires a strong background in engineering, particularly within the tire rubber industry.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or foreign degree equivalent in mechanical, industrial, or chemical engineering.
• 5 years progressively responsible work experience as an engineer in the tire rubber industry.
• Manufacturing experience in curing/vulcanization with customized tooling and mold manufacturing.
• Experience with tire container and mold drawings and designs.
• Experience with manufacturing equipment specifications and products related to new container and tire mold designs.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement new or revised processes.
• Responsible for process setting and writing corporate standards.
• Set the budget for the plants regarding equipment.
• Manage Direct Material Loss Ratio and Waste and Scrap Impacts.
