Requirements

  • Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing or Physician Assistant program
  • Active and unrestricted CA state license or Certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with Prescriptive Authority
  • Active Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Registration
  • Must be currently enrolled or eligible for enrollment to provide services to Medicare and Medi-Cal participants

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the recruitment, training, precepting, and onboarding of new PCPs and preceptors
  • Act as the subject matter expert on primary care workflows
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance patient care and clinic efficiency
  • Collaborate with other leaders to create and update PCP trainings
  • Conduct a weekly review of KPIs, as well as support PCPs in managing and understanding their KPIs
  • Oversee clinical pods in conjunction with the Medical Director/Associate Medical Director to make clinical decisions
  • Assist with preparing for and participating in center audits and inspections
