About The Position

The Learning Experience is seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Lead Preschool Teacher to guide a classroom of preschool-aged children in a structured, engaging early learning environment. This role is ideal for an experienced educator who is passionate about school readiness, social-emotional development, and hands-on learning. Our preschool program focuses on early literacy, math foundations, creativity, and independence through developmentally appropriate instruction.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or higher required
• Previous preschool teaching experience strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices
• Excellent communication and classroom leadership skills

Nice To Haves

• CPR and First Aid certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead daily preschool classroom activities in a safe and nurturing environment
• Plan and implement engaging lessons aligned with the L.E.A.P. curriculum
• Support early literacy, math, and problem-solving skills
• Maintain structured classroom routines and positive behavior guidance
• Supervise and mentor assistant teachers
• Observe and document developmental progress
• Communicate regularly with families regarding milestones and classroom updates
• Maintain compliance with state childcare licensing requirements
