About The Position

The Goddard School located in Chicago (South Loop), IL 60616 is looking for motivated self-starters for multiple positions as a Daycare Teachers at our new preschool for ages ranging from 6 weeks to 6 years. Our state of the art facility is expanding in the South Loop neighborhood of Chicago downtown, just blocks away from CTA and Metra Electric. Overview A Lead Preschool Teacher is responsible for establishing and maintaining a safe, healthy and nurturing learning environment. Additionally a teacher is responsible to work together with another teacher and in conjunction with the entire faculty. Teachers are responsible for compliance with Goddard's industry-leading Quality Assurance standards. Preschool Teachers write and implement their own lesson plans based on Goddard Developmental Guidelines and monthly school themes. Most importantly, they create a positive learning environment in their classroom where children develop a lifelong love of learning.

Requirements

• An Associate degree or higher in Early Childhood Education (ECE), Elementary Education, Child Development or a related field.
• Child Development Associate (CDA) Certification.
• Must be fully COVID vaccinated

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Early Childhood Education (ECE), Elementary Education, Child Development or a related field is preferred.
