Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a preschool or early learning setting
  • Strong communication skills and a genuine love for working with young children
  • Solid understanding of early childhood development and best practices
  • Ability to create a positive, structured, and engaging learning environment
  • A team-oriented attitude and commitment to professional growth

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred
  • Teaching license or Early Childhood Education certification preferred
  • First Aid/CPR certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement developmentally appropriate, engaging lessons aligned with the Primrose curriculum
  • Create a warm, safe, and inclusive classroom where children feel supported and excited to learn
  • Observe, assess, and document children’s progress and development
  • Build strong partnerships with families through open communication and collaboration
  • Maintain an organized, inviting classroom that supports hands-on learning
  • Lead activities that encourage creativity, problem-solving, and social-emotional growth
  • Ensure compliance with all state licensing, health, and safety regulations
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities
