Eaton’s Electrical Critical Power Solutions Division is currently seeking a Lead Power Electronics Engineer to join our team in Raleigh, NC. This position will be a hybrid office (3 days in-office, 2 days remote) role as long as you live within 50 miles of our Raleigh, NC facility. Exceptional problem-solving skills working to design and layout systems while engaging cross functional teams to identify optimal layout while balancing Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and long-term serviceability. Participate in project-wide reviews of requirements, system architecture, and detailed design documents. Work closely with regulatory experts to ensure design meet UL and other certification body requirements Identify opportunities for process, tools, and test methodology improvements, and drive those from concept to implementation. Eaton’s Electrical Critical Power & Digital Infrastructure Division designs, manufactures, and services Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems, batteries, and electronic-based products to ensure power reliability in the most demanding applications. Our employees deliver mission-critical solutions to our customers’ most challenging energy management requirements. The expected annual salary range for this role is $105,000 - $154,000 a year. What you’ll do: As a Lead Power Electronics Engineer you will support our product development and design of our high-power three-phase UPS’s. This role also supports products in our Energy Storage and EV charging product lines. The role includes all aspects of product design life cycle from concept to production as part of a global, dynamic, multi-disciplinary team.
