About The Position

The Senior BI Analyst will play a key role in transforming complex data into actionable insights that drive strategic business decisions. This role focuses on developing, optimizing, and managing internal dashboards and reports that track key business metrics and operational performance. This person will collaborate closely with internal teams—such as Finance, Operations, People Analytics, and Delivery—to ensure high-quality insights and data accuracy across the organization.

Requirements

  • Proven experience designing and delivering internal BI solutions from concept to implementation.
  • Proficiency in Power BI.
  • Advanced SQL in Snowflake: Ability to write complex queries using CTEs, window functions, and aggregations, with a focus on optimizing queries for reporting workloads.
  • Data Modeling for BI: Understanding of star schema and dimensional modeling, and experience creating fact and dimension views in Snowflake to build reporting-friendly datasets.
  • Snowflake Objects: Familiarity with key Snowflake components such as tables, views, materialized views, stages (basic knowledge), warehouses, and basic role-based access control (no deep infrastructure knowledge required).
  • Performance Optimization: Experience with query tuning, awareness of clustering/partitioning, minimizing scan costs, and leveraging result caching.
  • DAX and experience using tools like Tabular Editor and DAX Studio.
  • Experience with data modelling (e.g., Kimball) and managing enterprise-level reporting environments.
  • Excellent communication skills to translate analytical findings into actionable business insights for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and documentation.
  • Advanced English proficiency required.
  • Minimum of 4 years experience in business intelligence or related fields.

Nice To Haves

  • Additional experience with Tableau, Qlik, etc.
  • Experience with cloud environments (e.g., Azure, AWS).
  • Experience with large data sets.
  • Experience with internal data governance processes.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain internal BI dashboards and reports to monitor company KPIs and operational performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions.
  • Develop and optimize data models and ETL processes to ensure data consistency and accuracy.
  • Present insights and recommendations to senior leadership, supporting strategic and operational decisions.
  • Implement best practices in BI design, data governance, and process automation.
  • Support internal initiatives by providing analytical expertise and data visualization capabilities.
  • Manage multiple internal BI projects end-to-end, ensuring timely delivery and stakeholder satisfaction.
