Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Institutional Investment Portfolio Analytics Consultant to join the Portfolio Strategy and Analytics (PSA) team within the Investment Portfolio (IP). This role is pivotal in managing model work, which includes validation activities, change management documentation, implementation testing, performance monitoring, and other governance deliverables. The Analytics Consultant will also play a crucial role in supporting the forecast production of fixed-income securities, portfolio strategy, and investment optimization, while enhancing the control framework and effective risk management through tech-based automation solutions. The Investment Portfolio manages the bank's proprietary investment positions and supports firmwide balance sheet and interest rate risk (IRR) management. The PSA team oversees the forecasting, strategy, and portfolio analytics utilized by Treasury and various partners across the firm. In this position, you will be responsible for assembling model development documentation, validation materials, and change management memoranda for IP's fixed-income models. You will perform implementation testing, functional testing, and development work associated with model upgrades, technological advancements, system transitions, and other strategic initiatives within IP. Additionally, you will execute Key Performance Indicator (KPI) monitoring programs, address model risk findings (MRFs), and engage in other model surveillance activities. You will also architect project planning and interface with model risk partners, developers, and other stakeholders to support fixed-income security and derivatives forecasting, advanced analytics, and balance sheet management across various interest rate, spread, and multi-variable economic scenarios. Utilizing Business Intelligence (BI) tools, programming, and other tech-based automated solutions for reporting, controls, research, and user-testing applications will be a key part of your responsibilities.
