About The Position

Empire Distributors Inc, A Leading Beverage Distributor is now hiring a Lead PM Warehouse Worker. Our company offers excellent benefits, competitive wages and the potential for growth opportunities. Essential Duties and Responsibilities · Reports directly to Area Supervisor; Lead assigned to Truck load-out, Bottle, or case line supervisor while supporting all areas of operations · Plans and controls the daily flow of work assignments to include rotation of personnel to flow dictated areas of operation · Lead to work ratio expectancy of 30 to 70% · Takes active role in process improvement projects and teams · Tracks Teammate productivity and provides results to supervisor · Utilizes SAP in order to streamline productivity and process flow within warehouse operations · Ensures Teammates are properly trained on standard operating procedures · Provides feedback to Teammates and Leadership on areas of improvement · Delivers PCM (pre-communication meeting) to Teammates · Replenishes case and/or bottle inventory lines as needed by operations · Ensures breakage is written up on properly assigned format dictated by Inventory Control · Partners with Inventory Control Specialist’s ensuring appropriate communication is given in time sensitive matters related to inventory discrepancies · Monitors and controls the flow of work on bottle, loading, and/or caselines · Ensures odd picks, kegs, and cognac product is picked and loaded as required by operational requirements · Ensures branch, clubs, and high profile customer orders are audited in compliance with invoice requirements · Reviews daily built routes and coordinates with Routing for proper facilitation of truck assignment · Inputs work into WCS system to expedite Teammate productivity and work processing · Monitors the loading of trucks ensuring product is properly and safely loaded · Partners with dock coordinators and facilitates returns for return to stock processing · Operates forklift in the process of loading outbound fleet vehicles · Ensures Teammates are following appropriate safety guidelines; takes part in safety committee · Ensures the warehouse is cleaned and maintained daily · Submits End of Day report to Management

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Forklift Certificate - Must have the ability to receive and sustain a license to drive a forklift.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have some knowledge of warehouse software as well as basic Windows functions, i.e. SAP, KEA, Excel, and Word.
