In addition to providing direct patient care upon physician referral, this therapist participates in department program development and performance improvement activities, participates in orientation of new staff, provides ongoing education (formal and informal) to all staff, and serves as a clinical resource for the department. In the absence of and in partnership with department management, supports departmental initiatives.

Requirements

• Ability to perform patient care utilizing correct body mechanics.
• Competent to evaluate and treat a variety of diagnoses for patients who may be infants, children, adults, or older adults.
