About The Position

Join our laboratory team in a leadership-focused Phlebotomist role where you’ll play a key part in training, coordinating, and supporting a team of phlebotomists and processors. In this position, you will ensure accurate specimen collection and proper preparation for transport while serving as a trusted resource for clinical staff, physicians, patients, and caregivers. This role is ideal for an experienced phlebotomist who is organized, confident working independently, and passionate about mentoring others while maintaining the highest standards of patient care and laboratory excellence.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED Degree with formal phlebotomy training (Required)
1 - 2 years' experience in phlebotomy (Required)
Working knowledge of phlebotomy and other specimen collection techniques, specimen handling, and lab terminology
Strong communication, leadership, customer service, and data entry skills
Proficiency in difficult and pediatric venipunctures
Must be an organized individual capable of leading, prioritizing, and working independently
Ability to work effectively with employees, patients, and various caregivers
Driver's License DL NUMBER - Driver License, Valid and in State Required

Nice To Haves

Certified Phlebotomy Technician Certified Phlebotomist Preferred
