About The Position
The Pharmacy Technician Lead reports to Pharmacy Technician Supervisor and provides expertise and education of departmental policies and procedures. Provides training, education, and direction to technician staff and serves as a supervisor extender. Maintains consistent communication across all CHC pharmacy locations. Provides support to the leadership team for reporting and quality initiatives. Works as a pharmacy technician in addition to the lead duties stated above.
Requirements
- Michigan Licensed Pharmacy Technician.
- Retail pharmacy or Infusion pharmacy.
Nice To Haves
- Associates of Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Oncology and management experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Create training modules and competencies based on CHC policies and procedures for technician staff.
- Complete and monitor required reports on specific frequencies.
- Monitors staff while working and provides redirection in procedures as needed and ensures excellent customer service.
- Helps ensure correct inventory control.
- All other duties as assigned.
