About The Position
Piedmont Rockdale is a 161-bed, acute care, not-for-profit community hospital in Conyers that has provided compassionate, patient-centered care to Rockdale County and surrounding communities since 1954. We offer 24-hour emergency care, plus most major medical, surgical and diagnostic services.
Requirements
- H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required
- 2 years of pharmacy technician practice Required
- PHRMTECH-R - Registered Pharmacy Technician Current registration with the state Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician Upon Hire Required

Responsibilities
- Accountable for leading the daily operations of the technician staff assigned as they meet the needs of patients and staff.
- Provides input to department leadership regarding staff development and performance measures.
- Responsible for quality improvement, orientation and training, drug distribution, and projects as assigned by department leadership.
- Functions in accordance with standard written procedures, guidelines, and state and federal regulations.
- Assists with invoice processing for department as assigned.
- Provides orientation and training to the pharmacy technician team.
- Functions in all duties of a Pharmacy Technician.
