About The Position
Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. Lead daily quarry operations to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant production activities Coordinate and support team members to meet production, quality, and safety goals Monitor equipment, materials, and processes to optimize operational performance Enforce safety policies and promote a culture of continuous improvement Communicate effectively with supervisors, maintenance, and plant operations to resolve issues
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams and oversee operational activities in an industrial setting
- Strong commitment to safety, environmental stewardship, and operational excellence
- Ability to coordinate workflows, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing conditions
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills
- Working knowledge of quarry or heavy industrial operations and equipment
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check
- Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing
