About The Position

Join our Gear Custom Operations team as a hands-on leader, ensuring smooth workflow and exceptional performance. In this role, you’ll provide direction and support to associates, monitor productivity and safety standards, and deliver coaching and training to foster teamwork and customer service excellence. You’ll manage daily task assignments, adjust workloads to meet operational priorities, and step in as Team Leader when needed. With a focus on continuous improvement, you’ll oversee equipment care, enforce safety policies, and help drive cross-training initiatives. If you’re a proactive leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in operational efficiency, we want you on our team.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year of distribution experience in two or more departments (receiving, replenishment, order picking, returns, shipping, inventory control)
  • 1+ year working with Warehouse Management Systems, RF devices, freight manifest systems, forklifts, and conveyors
  • Knowledge of custom embroidery or textile decorating processes required
  • Proven ability to lead teams and work effectively with others
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Capable of providing performance feedback and leading teams of up to 50 associates
  • Comfortable using computers for production tasks and issue resolution
  • Physical ability to walk, climb ladders, work at height, and lift cartons up to 50 lbs
  • Must pass distribution work ability screening test
  • Ability to obtain company forklift operator’s license

Nice To Haves

  • 1 year of lead or area coordinator experience preferred
