About The Position

Long Prairie Packing Company, LLC, an American Foods Group Company has an opportunity for a Lead Person - Harvest at our Long Prairie, MN plant. As Lead Person - Harvest, you will oversee operations to provide for day-to-day control of assigned department activities according to prescribed schedules, priorities, production flow, and processing specifications to ensure production efficiencies are met hourly. You will evaluate department work performance and inform the supervisor if action is needed. Additionally, you will step in and perform production positions in the area of responsibility in order to keep production flowing and to give breaks as needed. Supporting cost reduction and communicating with other departments to keep product flow is also part of your role. You will be responsible for completing required paperwork. Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Ability to work in a variety of work temperatures (warm, hot, humid, cold, wet) and around moving equipment.
• Must be able to perform job duties with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Ability to work extended scheduled hours Monday through Saturday with daily overtime.
• Must be able to successfully complete training in Safety, SQF, GMPs, HACCP, SOPs, and food defense.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in a USDA inspected beef, pork or poultry facility.
• Prior production experience.
• Work history in the last 12 months.

Responsibilities
