Thanks for your commitment to Tyson Foods. Management Level: Class 10 Applicants will be considered for Harvest Lead openings. The Lead will oversee the assigned area and keep overall productivity going. The Lead will help out in case of absenteeism. The Lead will fill in for personal breaks and emergencies. The Lead is there for guidance when the supervisor is not present. The Lead will stay during breaks to help clean the area and prep the equipment for start-up after the break. The Lead will maintain all equipment and keep supplies continually coming to the area. The Lead will assist in record keeping pertaining to the assigned area. The Lead will communicate with co-workers and management by writing work orders for maintenance repairs, prepare written reports for accounting purposes, read/comprehend the daily production schedule and be able to discuss with other managers; Bi-lingual skills a plus. Standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling, lifting and reaching are required. These positions work in a cold / hot, damp environment and slippery surfaces. Requirements : Successful candidates must have the knowledge to perform at least two jobs in the department. Team Member must be dependable, work well with others, self-motivated and willing to come in early and stay late, when necessary. Team Member must have less than 5 attendance points at the time of this posting and a good safety record (NO Safety suspensions) with in the last 12 months. This position is slated for team members who are currently working at this facility or complex only. Team members interested in transferring into this position from another Tyson facility should express interest through their local HR Partner.
