About The Position

This is an exciting opportunity for a Day Shift, Lead PCT/CNA/MA in the Acute Care Department. As the Lead PCT/CNA/MA, you will provide patient care in accordance with established methods and procedures. You will also perform clerical and receptionist duties by assisting Department leadership in coordinating and managing the unit. The role functions as a communication link from the Nursing Department to other departments of the hospital, assists in Discharge or transition planning for patients, and helps maintain an efficient physical environment in the department. Additionally, you will assist patients, visitors, staff, and physicians in the department as needed. Valley View Hospital is located between Aspen and Vail, along the Colorado River in Glenwood Springs, Colorado, a community with a population of about 10,000. Valley View's mission is to provide convenient, connected care to the communities of Western Colorado with scope, technology, and expertise rarely found in regional hospitals.

Requirements

Completion of Nursing Assistant or equivalent patient care training program and/or past experience
Current BLS certification.
1-year minimum experience
