Lead Patient Account Registrar
About The Position
We are seeking a Lead Patient Account Registrar , sometimes referred to as a n Admission Representative Lead . The Lead Account Registrar oversees the daily workflow of the admitting and registration team to make sure every patient is checked in accurately, quickly, and with a positive experience. The Lead Patient Account Registrar handle s complex registration issues, support front line staff, and step in to resolve problems related to insurance, authorizations, or patient accounts. Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Extensive knowledge of Patient Access required, Certified Healthcare Access Associate (CHAA) preferred.
- Exceptional interpersonal organizational skills.
- Demonstrated leadership and management abilities.
- Extremely high degree of attention to detail.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize.
- Good analytical problem solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple demands and function well under pressure.
Nice To Haves
- Certified Healthcare Access Associate (CHAA) preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support the admitting team by overseeing daily workflow and ensuring smooth patient check in
- Enter and verify patient information, insurance details, and documentation with accuracy
- Troubleshoot complex registration, insurance eligibility, and authorization issues
- Train new staff , help with scheduling, and maintain strong customer service standards
- Coordinate with clinical teams and billing to resolve account issues and support compliance and quality
