Westside Baptist ChurchMontgomery, AL
61d$300 - $500

About The Position

The Westside Baptist Church (WBC) is currently in the process of seeking a faithful and God-fearing pastor to lead and grow its congregation. The current pastor (Willie M. Graham) will remain at the WBC as Pastor Emeritus. WBC is an African American Baptist Church in partnership with the Montgomery Baptist Association, the Alabama Baptist Convention, and the Southern Baptist Convention. Our Mission: Biblically glorifying God, loving others, serving communities, i.e., evangelizing and leading people to become fully devoted followers of Christ; to continue making disciples for Christ while spreading the gospel and reaching as many souls as possible. WBC is located at 2510 Westgate Street, Montgomery, AL 36108 (encompassing a large part of the Westside of Montgomery), and is over 50 years old. Attendance is average (sometimes lower) (WBC is still rebuilding after COVID); membership ages range from toddlers to seniors. WBC is very family-oriented, loving, and compassionate. There is a place in our ministry for all ages. We are committed to spiritual growth and seek a man of God whose vision aligns with that commitment.
