About The Position

Berean Bible Church (Grand Island, NE) Lead Pastor THE BIG PICTURE Berean Bible Church (https://www.giberean.org) is seeking a full-time Lead Pastor to preach the Word of God and equip the saints for the work of the ministry.

Requirements

The Lead Pastor shall provide spiritual leadership to the church in equipping God’s people for the work of the ministry. (Eph 4:11-12).
The Lead Pastor is an Elder of the church and shall be accountable to the Board for the performance of his duties. He serves on the official Board as an Elder. He will not be subject to term limits.
He shall have the right to be an ex officio member of all committees and other organized groups within the church.
He shall participate in the BFC Regional Fellowship and the annual BFC General Council meetings.
The practice of this church will be to grant our pastoral staff a multiple‐month, paid sabbatical every seventh year. (A suggested sabbatical policy is available from the Berean Fellowship of Churches upon request).
