About The Position
Chestnut Mountain Presbyterian Church, with 600 members and a multi-staffed structure, is dedicated to glorifying and enjoying God by equipping people to delightfully obey the Great Commandment and the Great Commission both locally and globally. As we celebrated 150 years of faithfulness in the fall of 2024, we are seeking a lead pastor who embodies our Bible-believing, gospel-centered, and loving community through expository preaching that is doctrinally sound, gospel-oriented, and relational. The lead pastor will demonstrate strong leadership skills and a dynamic, relatable preaching style that teaches the Bible while emphasizing Christ and His gospel of grace. The role involves investing in key areas such as developing and discipling church leaders, envisioning mission activities, and collaborating with ministry leaders to build the congregation and bridge generations through outreach programs.
