Responsibilities

• Lead a multi-generational church family in worship services.
• Disciple the church body to deepen their personal faith.
• Shepherd the church body to care for one another and encourage spiritual formation.
• Enhance membership through campaigns aimed at growing attendance and participation.
• Plan Sunday services and other church events.
• Participate with the Lay Leadership group.
• Build and lead events for all age groups.
• Provide pastoral care to church members as needed.
• Coordinate religious education classes for children and adults.
• Prepare sermons and presentations on Christian topics.
• Conduct marriage ceremonies, funerals, baptisms, and other ceremonies as requested.
• Counsel congregation members dealing with personal issues.
• Coordinate with the Spiritual Enrichment lay leader for youth and adult programs.
• Support church lay leadership with administrative tasks.
• Visit shut-ins and hospitals upon request.
• Act as an ambassador in the community.
