About The Position
Nooksack Valley Reformed Church is seeking a full-time lead pastor who deeply loves the Lord, is guided by the Word, and led by the Spirit to proclaim the gospel in light of the rich history of Reformed Theology. NVRC was established in 1944 to "live out the words of Jesus Christ, to be salt and light in our community and world, and to be His Gospel Representatives." Over the last 8 decades, the Lord faithfully blessed us with growth, and a variety of thriving ministries including a vibrant Sunday School and youth programs, VBS and adult Bible Studies to name just a few. Our church has a rich blend of young and older members that are committed to walking in faith with one another. We have recently transferred out of the RCA to remain faithful to our God and have found our home in the Alliance of Reformed Churches (Alliance). Nooksack Valley Reformed Church is located in the Northwest corner of Washington State, roughly 10 miles south of the Canadian Border, and 80 miles north of Seattle. The glory of Creation is evident not only within our church, but in the landscape all around- we are blessed to be within a half hour's drive of both the Cascade Mountains and Puget Sound.
