About The Position

JOIN OUR FUN-EMPLOYED FAMILY! The Lead Paranormal Investigator will guide and share their investigative techniques with our guests during an investigation tour at 416 W Liberty. Entertain our guests with the building's history and stories of the spirits that are said to reside there. Additional lead duties are to be a positive role model, assist training and motivating the team, and perform Manager on Duty tasks. Requirements

• Ability to work independently over long periods of time or as part of a team within the scope of established rules and regulations
• Ability to read, write and speak fluent English in order to communicate with fellow employees and the general public
• Ability to memorize historical details and relay the stories in an entertaining manner
• Ability to be heard in a loud, audible voice.
• Ability to use and teach others to use paranormal investigative techniques and equipment.
• Must pass pre-employment background check and substance abuse testing
• Have a passion for helping people and making their Savannah experience a memorable one.

Nice To Haves

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred
• Strong interest in the paranormal and Savannah history preferred
• Prior performance or interpretation experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Present historically accurate information in an entertaining manner several times a work shift, in a loud audible voice without amplification.
• Provide and train guests on how to use an array of traditional and state-of-the-art ghost hunting equipment.
• Share paranormal investigative techniques with guests to prepare them for any strange and peculiar phenomena they may encounter.
• Guide a group of guests on the paranormal investigative tour experience.
• At the conclusion of the investigation, share experiences from other guests on tour.
• Help the guest understand any paranormal or psychic phenomena they may have experience.
• As directed, serve as Manager on Duty ensuring the operation runs smoothly, including, but not limited to, assisting with opening procedures, ensuring that paranormal tour is adequately staffed and ready for the evening, and our performances run on time.
• Resolve customer issues and refer unresolved customer grievances to appropriate personnel for further investigation.
