About The Position

The LEAD Clinic Paramedic, works under the supervision of the Practice Manager
and under the direction of the provider and accepts responsibility for direction
of the nursing staff in the implementation of patient care according to
organizational policies and procedures. The LEAD Paramedic works within the
scope of his/her practice and the polices of the organization to meet the needs
of the patient and/or families. Performs care of the patient as described and
regulated by the Missouri Bureau of Emergency Medical Services via the authority
of the Missouri Comprehensive Emergency Medical Services Systems Act (Chapter
190, Missouri Revised Statutes 190.010 –190.245) and rules promulgated under
sections 109.001-190.245.This position requires intimate knowledge of both
clinic and hospital, policies and procedures relevant to delivery of patient
care and the ability to communicate verbal and written information in a
friendly, effective, and accurate manner. Leads and works cohesively with
teammates to provide exception service to all patients, families, visitors,
caregivers, and providers.
