About The Position

A Lead Paint Cleaning Technician role combines the responsibilities of overseeing a team of technicians who handle both painting and cleaning operations. This position ensures that all work is completed to high quality, within safety and environmental standards, and on schedule.

Requirements

  • Understanding of paint systems, stripping methods, and surface preparation techniques.
  • Ability to use hand tools, power strippers, sanders, and chemical applicators.
  • Precision in cleaning to avoid damaging underlying surfaces.
  • Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy materials, and operate equipment safely.
  • Collaborate with other technicians, supervisors, and clients to ensure project success.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise, train, and mentor technicians in both painting and cleaning tasks.
  • Ensure all staff follow company policies, safety protocols, and quality standards.
  • Motivate and resolve conflicts within the team 
  • Plan and manage work schedules to optimize productivity and meet deadlines.
  • Coordinate between painting and cleaning crews to ensure seamless workflow.
  • Adjust schedules based on project demands and resource availability 
  • Inspect and approve all painting and cleaning work to meet specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Document work progress, issues, and corrective actions for management review
