About The Position

Motivated team player with a winning customer service attitude .The Lead Ophthalmic Technician supports the clinical staff by performing specialized ophthalmic duties requiring demonstrated expertise under the supervision of the practice manager. Assist with the education and performance evaluation of the Ophthalmic Technicians. Performs all aspects of patient work ups, refraction , special testing (photos, OCTs, IOL Master, A-Scan, B-Scan, Fluorescein Angiograms, Pachymetry, visual fields), Completes work up of all patients in a timely fashion, including: chief complaint, ocular history, family history, visual testing and other applicable tests. Assist Ophthalmologist in minor procedures, lasers and injections. Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal), a strong work ethic, reliability, professionalism, confidentiality and dependability are required. Must possess the ability to adapt and continue to learn and grow.
