ONE-Lead Operator
About The Position
The Lead Operator will be responsible to run the rotocure on 2nd shift according to specifications and standards. The rotocure machine is designed to process rubber coated fabrics through a continuous vulcanization to produce a conveyor belt. The Lead Operator ensures that all various parts work in precise alignment and maintain all process parameters in their correct tolerance. This position reports to the Production Supervisor at our Thermoid manufacturing facility in Oneida, TN. This position assigned shift is 3:30pm to 12:00am Monday thru Friday and pays $20.65 to start and $22.25 after 90 days. 2nd shift has a $1.50 shift differential.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- 1-2 years in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Experience with production reporting, computers and documentation is a plus
Responsibilities
- Follow our standard policies of Safety, Quality and Productivity
- Employ established set-up and Standard Operating Procedures for machines, tooling, gauging and other necessary equipment
- Employ basic math skills of addition, subtraction, and multiplication to report production
- Provide accurate production reporting
- Maintain work areas in a clean and orderly condition
- Maintain reliable attendance record
