About The Position

TTM Technologies, Inc. is a leading global manufacturer of technology products, including mission systems, radio frequency (“RF”) components, RF microwave/microelectronic assemblies, and technologically advanced printed circuit boards (“PCB”s). TTM stands for time-to-market, representing how TTM's time-critical, one-stop design, engineering and manufacturing services enable customers to reduce the time required to develop new products and bring them to market. A Lead Operator supports a production area for that area’s supervisor. They are responsible for ensuring all equipment is running properly, operators are working on the correct work orders, and communicate information to the production operators. Lead operators must meet or exceed output targets by understanding the product flow and handling procedures within the department. All operators will be exposed to hazardous waste, smells and loud sounds while performing daily job duties so they must use the required PPE accordingly.

Requirements

  • Have a thorough knowledge of process manufacturing
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to lift 40 pounds without straining
  • Ability to stand throughout entire shift
  • Ability to read, write and communicate in English to the degree necessary to perform the job
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Two years experience in the manufacturing environment, preferrable with some leadership

Responsibilities

  • Work with department supervisor to support production needs including:
  • Operate all equipment within the department as needed.
  • Schedule work priority within the department
  • Follow work flow dispatch as required while making allowances for schedule changes in response to Hot Jobs and customer requirements
  • Maintain department inventory and order supplies as needed
  • Perform initial equipment troubleshooting within the department
  • Perform troubleshooting of defects as they arise and work with process tech and engineer to resolve.
  • Read blueprints and traveler documents to produce and move products according to customer specifications and to verify that all previous operations were completed
  • Oversee chemical adds (if applicable) as a chemical add specialist once training is completed.
  • Verify preventative maintenance completion and effectiveness within the department
  • Flow down communication from supervisor to the production floor in team meetings
  • Verify product meets quality requirements and perform traveler sign-off.
  • Provide training to production operators to ensure they can run their process autonomously.
  • Maintain the work area in a safe environment
  • Use all required Personal Protective Equipment
  • Complete all internal departmental documentation accurately
