About The Position

The Lead Surveillance Operator is responsible for all actions and activities that occur on their shift and directly supervises the subordinates on the shift. This role is crucial in ensuring the security and compliance of the casino operations.

Requirements

• Effective collaboration with colleagues and supervisors, demonstrating good interpersonal skills.
• Ability to compile and present results of investigations in the absence of the department Manager.
• General working knowledge of various departments and functions of the Casino.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly to shifting priorities and manage multiple priorities simultaneously, establishing and meeting deadlines.
• Review gaming play breakdowns, statistical analysis, and detailed gaming studies of high action games/players/comps to assist casino operations.
• Participation in Corporate Management Training and Tribal Management programs by attending management training classes as applicable.
• Intermediate to high level skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Casino Systems (IGT, Bally’s, and SDS), F&B Point of Sale software, and email.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations and interpret data from graphs.
• Complete understanding of Title 31 and SAR rules and reporting requirements.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of Native American culture, Tribal Government, and operations.
• At least 6 years’ experience within a Casino Surveillance Department.

Responsibilities

• Protect the assets of the Seminole Tribe by observing and reporting any improprieties to the respective chain of command.
• Monitor the property for compliance with Tribal Internal Control Standards, Seminole Tribal Gaming Code, State of Florida Gaming Compact, and Casino Policy & Procedures.
• Document and report all suspicious activities and discrepancies to the Seminole Tribal Gaming Commission according to the chain of command.
• Keep the Surveillance Manager informed of all surveillance activity on a daily basis.
• Provide guidance to the Surveillance Observers and monitor their daily performance to ensure adherence to policies and guidelines.
