About The Position

The primary purpose of this position is to oversee and participate in the daily operations function of a bulk liquid drumming, storage, and handling terminal. The role involves coordinating with customers and internal functional groups to ensure timely receipt and shipment of products and inventory. The position requires ensuring efficient workflow of operations through the issuance of field work orders to satisfy customer requirements while performing all work in accordance with company standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of related work experience in industrial or maintenance work.
  • Working knowledge of liquid operations.
  • Valid driver's license with a driving record that meets company standards.
  • Ability to obtain TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential).
  • Successful completion of pre-employment background check, drug screen, and other related testing.

  • Ability to complete HAZ-MAT, DOT, Confined Space, and Lockout/Tagout training.
  • Management/supervisory skills.
  • Intermediate computer skills with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Power Point).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assign work and monitor operators at a liquid terminal.
  • Provide direct oversight of equipment and facilities for terminal operations.
  • Direct and monitor daily work assignments, interpreting job orders from management.
  • Organize and prioritize daily work and include long and short term projects into day to day execution.
  • Actively participate in the process to achieve terminal objectives.
  • Enforce established quality control standards and Kinder Morgan policies.
  • Review processes to promote safer, more efficient operations.
  • Review production and operating reports and resolve operational and maintenance problems.
  • Monitor facility equipment and assist employees in diagnostics of malfunctions.
  • Support the instruction, development, and discipline of the terminal workforce.
  • Interface with customer representatives, regulatory personnel, and KM staff.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Communicate professionally with all terminal employees.
  • Develop and implement processes to eliminate recurring operational issues.
  • Conduct field and operational audits to measure performance.
  • Assist with customer and internal audit processes.
  • Perform all job duties in accordance with Federal, State, and Local Regulations.
  • Inspect and audit production orders for accuracy and quality.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Manage the overall flow of inbound and outbound material movements.
  • Ensure accuracy of customer and Kinder Morgan inventory.
  • Ensure compliance with SOX guidelines.
  • Disseminate drumming, barge, truck, rail, production, and shipping orders efficiently.
  • Maintain and distribute daily schedules of operations.
