About The Position
Position Summary: This position provides hands-on assistance to the supervisor/manager in all aspects of daily production. Must maintain a safe, clean, productive working environment at all times!!! Essential Job Functions/Duties: "Hands on" management of department workforce including documenting discipline and training Interpret production schedules and drawings, report daily production Implement and enforce production and safety procedures Oversee daily safety, productivity, and quality within department Ensure work areas and equipment are kept clean and well maintained Help manage daily purchases of supplies and materials Report production metrics and maintain accurate records Help perform and manage inventory of materials and finished goods Verify E-time records and attendance
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year(s) supervisory experience
- Relevant industry experience required
- Leads when required, but able to work with others to achieve common goals
- Time management, must understand "urgency" of manufacturing
- Intermediate math skills
- Computer knowledge / skills
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
- Excellent understanding of written and verbal instructions
- Quick thinker / flexible / problem solver
