We’re looking for a Lead, Research Operations who brings both strategic vision and operational rigor to help our high-performing research team work smarter and faster. The User Research team at VistaPrint has earned a strong reputation across the Product Experience organization—and now we’re ready to scale our impact even further. This role isn’t just about keeping research running—it’s about shaping what great Research Ops looks like. In partnership with the Director of User Research, you’ll lead the evolution of our research infrastructure, consent processes, data governance, and ethical standards, ensuring that our operations unlock learning, not limit it. You’ll design systems that are scalable, compliant, and lightweight—removing friction while promoting consistency and trust. Your initiatives will span consent workflows, privacy practices, ethics training, insights tooling, and more. Most importantly, you’ll be a thought partner to researchers and cross-functional leaders, always advocating for solutions that support speed, clarity, and strategic insight generation. We’re looking for someone who’s energized by the opportunity to elevate research as a core driver of product excellence—someone who thrives on enabling others, loves problem-solving, and balances a strong operational mindset with a sharp eye for long-term impact.

  • Lead a comprehensive audit and data hygiene initiative.
  • Partner with Legal to finalize a standardized, scalable NDA template for research participants.
  • Develop and deliver an internal Research Ethics Training program tailored for UX researchers and designers.
  • Lead the enablement and governance of our insights management platform, Hey Marvin.
  • Support fast, compliant, and coordinated research efforts across the organization.
  • Maintain and continuously improve researcher tooling, templates, and documentation.
  • Manage participant recruiting processes and third-party vendor relationships.
  • Ensure compliance with global data protection and participant privacy standards.
  • Facilitate onboarding for new researchers and designers.
  • Foster a culture of operational excellence, ethics, and inclusivity in research.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Legal, Security, IT, and Procurement as needed.
  • 5+ years of experience in Research Operations, User Research, or a related field.
  • Deep knowledge of research compliance, privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA), and ethical best practices.
  • Proven track record of implementing scalable systems for consent, data handling, or platform enablement.
  • Strong project and program management skills with the ability to juggle multiple complex initiatives.
  • Proficiency with platforms such as DocuSign, Google Workspace, UserTesting, and insights repositories (e.g., HeyMarvin, Dovetail).
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Passionate about enabling researchers and elevating the impact of research across an organization.
  • Remote-First company
  • Inclusive community
  • Opportunities for growth
  • Mission-driven team that values speed, integrity, and creativity in research.
