About The Position

The primary role is responsible for performing a variety of complex administrative activities and support involving the operations of water treatment, wastewater treatment and collections, and distribution systems, field operations and/or regulatory compliance. This includes processing and maintaining a variety of complex accounting information such as payroll, accounts payable, invoices, inventory issues/receipts, purchase orders, customer payments, and bank deposits. The role also involves researching, compiling, and updating information in various systems, maintaining financial and/or other business records, and interacting with internal/external customers regarding various issues. Additionally, the position requires preparing and responding to data requests and executing work orders, service orders, error reports, and set-ups in various configurations such as Powerplant, Coupa, SAP, and myTime.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3+ years related clerical experience preferred.
  • High School Diploma or GED required. Some college courses preferred.
  • Excellent knowledge of general office procedures.
  • Excellent math knowledge.
  • Excellent working knowledge of programs such as Excel, Word, Power Point.
  • Excellent knowledge of water distribution systems and water and wastewater field operations.
  • Knowledge of company billing guidelines and state billing regulations preferred.
  • Working knowledge of SAP, Map Call, W1V preferred.
  • Flexibility with completing tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Processes and maintains a variety of complex accounting information including payroll, accounts payable, invoices, inventory issues/receipts, purchase orders, customer payments, and bank deposits.
  • Research, compile, and update information in various systems, including database, spreadsheet and word processing programs.
  • Maintains financial and/or other business records.
  • Interacts with internal/external customers regarding various issues and provides any additional assistance.
  • Researches and resolves critical customer questions, concerns, difficulties, inquiries and/or problems.
  • Production chemical ordering.
  • Maintain production employee scheduling.
  • Prepares and responds to data requests and executes work orders, service orders, error reports, set-ups, etc. in various configurations such as Powerplant, Coupa, SAP and myTime.
  • Compiles and reviews numerous multifaceted reports on a daily/weekly/monthly basis.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
