About The Position

The Lead, Operations & Portfolio Management at International Justice Mission (IJM) plays a crucial role in managing and ensuring the successful completion of projects within the Global Programs division. This position involves project management, operational support, and the application of human-centered design principles to enhance IJM's strategic initiatives aimed at protecting vulnerable populations from violence. The Lead will work closely with cross-functional teams and leadership to deliver impactful projects and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Minimum of four years' experience in project management or operations management.
  • Proven ability to work with diverse teams and manage cross-cultural teams in hybrid environments.
  • Strong written and communication skills in English.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Suite, especially PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • Experience in global internal communications preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • International experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in software applications like Mural, Miro, and Visio.
  • Experience in programming and product development.

Responsibilities

  • Act as primary project manager for assigned projects, creating timelines and maintaining workflows.
  • Facilitate cross-functional team communication and produce tools for stakeholder engagement.
  • Drive design projects from start to finish, including customer interviews and prototyping.
  • Develop project plans in line with IJM's global project management standards.
  • Lead ongoing operations such as reporting and communications.
  • Craft compelling content for design projects and ensure clarity in external materials.
