Requirements

  • Pediatric Therapy Experience (3 years preferred for this position)
  • PT/OT Degree with active license in the United States (will need to obtain license in Hawaii)
  • Live on island or willing to relocate to Maui from within the U.S.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate children of all ages and abilities, develop individualized plan of care, and provide effective treatment to progress children toward their goals while educating and supporting families through the process.
  • Train, mentor, and provide clinical guidance to occupational therapy staff.
  • Collaborate with other clinicians and healthcare professionals to assist in providing the best patient care.
  • Foster an environment that promotes communication, positivity, and accountability.
  • Assist in developing and refining therapy programs, activities, and resources tailored to the needs of pediatric patients.
  • Assist families in obtaining medically necessary durable medical equipment.
  • Effectively communicate with patients, families, staff, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Participate in community outreach, marketing, and events.
  • Support the team and clinic so we can fulfill our vision and help more children.
  • Timely and accurate documentation
