Requirements

Pediatric Therapy Experience (3 years preferred for this position)
PT/OT Degree with active license in the United States (will need to obtain license in Hawaii)
Live on island or willing to relocate to Maui from within the U.S.

Responsibilities

Evaluate children of all ages and abilities, develop individualized plan of care, and provide effective treatment to progress children toward their goals while educating and supporting families through the process.
Train, mentor, and provide clinical guidance to occupational therapy staff.
Collaborate with other clinicians and healthcare professionals to assist in providing the best patient care.
Foster an environment that promotes communication, positivity, and accountability.
Assist in developing and refining therapy programs, activities, and resources tailored to the needs of pediatric patients.
Assist families in obtaining medically necessary durable medical equipment.
Effectively communicate with patients, families, staff, and other healthcare professionals.
Participate in community outreach, marketing, and events.
Support the team and clinic so we can fulfill our vision and help more children.
Timely and accurate documentation
