About The Position

The lead occupational therapist acts as a resource for other staff members. This includes such duties as communicating instructions, training employees, performing scheduling/staffing, assisting with program development and quality assurance. This job description includes all responsibilities of a staff therapist.

Requirements

  • A graduate of an accredited program of occupational therapy
  • Washington Occupational Therapist License upon hire
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
  • 5 years of clinical experience in related field
  • 3 years of clinical experience in specialty

Responsibilities

  • Act as a resource for other staff members
  • Communicate instructions to staff
  • Train employees
  • Perform scheduling and staffing duties
  • Assist with program development
  • Ensure quality assurance in therapy programs
