About The Position

We’re seeking a compassionate and experienced Lead Nurse to oversee nursing operations at our Behavioral Health Crisis Center. In this leadership role, you’ll guide a dedicated team of nurses, ensure the highest standards of patient care, and help shape policies and procedures that make a real difference in the lives of individuals in crisis.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Licensed as a RN/LPN in Missouri and Illinois.
  • Active licensure in Missouri and Illinois.
  • Minimum of 2 years in nursing supervision (required).
  • Applicant must be willing to become licensed in additional states, other than the state currently licensed in.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise nursing staff, ensuring exceptional patient care.
  • Recruit, train, and onboard new nurses; provide ongoing education and support.
  • Implement and monitor clinical procedures, policies, and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with leadership and quality management teams to improve processes.
  • Ensure compliance with infection control, safety regulations, and governing standards.
  • Manage scheduling, performance evaluations, and staff development.
  • Advocate for nursing staff and serve as liaison between nurses and providers.
  • Oversee audits, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
