About The Position

Performs advanced nuclear medicine procedures to diagnose and treat diseases, ensuring patient safety and accurate administration of radioactive materials. Provides mentorship to nuclear medicine technologists and assists the supervisor.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree; no exceptions.
• Completion of American Registry of Radiologic Technologist approved educational program.
• At least one (1) year of experience in a related field.
• Manual dexterity.
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Oral and written communication skills.
• Detail oriented.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Must be currently certified in Radiography with American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and Nuclear Medicine with ARRT or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).
• Must possess or obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within ninety (90) days of hire and maintained throughout employment.
• Must possess a valid driver's license with a driving history verified through a motor vehicle report that meets requirements for Cherokee Nation underwriting rating.
• The employee must not be and will not be under sanction by the United States Department of Health and Human Services Office of the Inspector General (OIG) or by the General Services Administration (GSA) or listed on the OIG's Cumulative Sanction Report, or the GSA's List of Excluded Providers, or listed on the OIG's List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE).
• Must meet and maintain pre-employment and periodic background investigation and adjudication for childcare.
