The Lead Nuclear Medicine Technologist will act as a subject matter expert for the department to include; onboarding, communication, equipment maintenance, scheduling, and resolving safety, patient and team member concerns. Performs all nuclear imaging studies and administration of radiopharmaceuticals while under the general supervision of a licensed practitioner who is licensed, as required, to possess and use radioactive materials, for the purposes of diagnosis and/or treatment of anatomic and physiologic disorders at a technical level not requiring constant supervision and within the scope of their license.

  • Act as a subject matter expert for the department.
  • Oversee onboarding and communication within the team.
  • Manage equipment maintenance and scheduling.
  • Resolve safety, patient, and team member concerns.
  • Perform all nuclear imaging studies.
  • Administer radiopharmaceuticals under supervision.
  • Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Program.
  • One year Nuclear Medicine Experience.
  • IEMA Licensure Required.
  • NMTCB or ARRT (N) required.
  • Basic Life Support certification from American Heart Association (BLS for Health Care Providers).
  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Three years Nuclear Medicine experience.
