About The Position

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Provide oversight for NSC operations and act as the primary point of contact for NSC-related orders. Coordinate with Government leads to synchronize activities and resolve technical challenges. Deliver weekly NSC ticket and status reports to the CSO and COR. Ensure the NSC’s adherence to Air Force policies, regulatory compliance, and operational security standards. Support and maintain network backbone infrastructure, routing and switching devices, and ensure continuous availability and high performance across all CCSD-occupied buildings. Ensure compliance with industry/regulatory standards (e.g., TIA, ITIL, BICSI, NEC, ISO 9000), and Air Force and DoD security requirements. Provide asset management of networking equipment and support for networked systems across various security levels (NIPRNet, SIPRNet, JWICS, NSANet, Tier1 networks). Support voice/video systems, including VoIP and VTC operations, and coordinate with relevant stakeholders for successful implementation.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Cisco network routers and switches, advanced networking principles (routing, switching, OSI Reference Model), Air Force network configuration and operation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Server 2008 or higher, VMWare 5.1 or higher, and vSphere administration.
  • Clearance required: TOP SECRET/SCI

  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
  • Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
