About The Position

The Lead Night QMAP at Point of The Pines Gardens Assisted Living Facility is responsible for providing person-centered care to residents, particularly in administering medications and supporting the care team. This role involves monitoring staff, ensuring compliance with care standards, and acting as a managerial presence during night shifts. The position offers opportunities for growth into care coordination roles.

Requirements

• QMAP Certification
• Experience in ECP (Enhanced Care Program) is a plus.
• Strong decision-making skills.
• Ability to multitask and utilize best judgment in challenging situations.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Team player with a positive and friendly attitude.

Nice To Haves

• CPR Certification
• AED Certification
• Experience in dementia care.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pass medications to residents in a timely manner.
• Assist upper management and Care Coordinators with med-cart audits and filing.
• Monitor QMAPs and Caregivers/Housekeepers in their daily duties.
• Chart resident activities and behaviors as necessary.
• Establish and delegate tasks assigned by the Care Coordinator.
• Act as the acting manager on site, making decisions regarding team member conduct.
