SAIC is seeking a Lead Network Systems Engineer to support the AWS Cloud Managed Services for USTRANSCOM. This role involves providing strategic, technical, and program management guidance to support and modernize the combatant command's infrastructure, systems, and applications under the USTC Command, Control, Communications & Cyber Systems Directorate (TCJ6). The successful candidate will drive complex projects from inception to conclusion, offering strategic advice and technical expertise. Analyze, evaluate, and recommend improvements for mission-critical challenges. Consult clients to define needs, supervise studies, and provide effective solutions. Technical leadership in developing and implementing commercial cloud solution architectures focusing on security, scalability, and resiliency Plan, design, and manage the migration, integration, and operation of client cloud environments Ensure cloud services comply with DoD Cloud Computing policies Provide detailed information on hardware/software selection, cloud provider options, and efficient implementation techniques Conduct testing of cloud and virtualization systems Maintain expertise in cloud computing standards and technologies (cloud service provider architecture, cloud deployment models, automation, containers, etc.) Evaluate new cloud and virtualization technologies to enhance service capabilities Participate in strategic planning with senior managers
