Requirements

  • High level of technical knowledge and experience with: Network routing (BGP, OSPF and EIGRP) and Cisco CCNP level knowledge
  • Firewall concepts and functions
  • Knowledge of HTTP protocol and WAF and IPS
  • Proxy and user access, VPN access, both site-to-site and end user.
  • GSLB, and server load balancing
  • TLS knowledge and experience
  • Familiarity with REST APIs and automation
  • Tier 3 operational support
  • Firewall: ASA, PaloAlto and Juniper SRX
  • F5: ASM, DNS, APM, AFM. Knowledge of iRules
  • Experience in user proxy technologies and reverse proxy solutions (Kemp/NGINX/HA Proxy)
  • Experience with CloudFlare WAF/DDoS/Rules/etc.
  • Experience with NAC implementations (ClearPass, ISE)
  • Experience in Public Cloud Security, specifically AWS
  • Experience with programming languages such as Python
  • Knowledge of penetration testing techniques and methodology and attack surface management

Responsibilities

  • Identify, research, and evaluate security solutions and emerging technologies that align with the company's strategic direction.
  • Leverage expertise of security, HTTP compliance, application-level security, and end-point protections.
  • Deploy new security technologies as well as maintain current security infrastructure.
  • Perform strong troubleshooting as needed, as well as knowledge in APIs.
  • Interact and collaborate with other parts of the business and coordinate work with multiple teams.
