About The Position

The Lead Network Engineer is responsible for architecting, standardizing, documenting, implementing and supporting Duly Clinical and Administrative office(s) network infrastructure for critical reliability and maximum uptime. This role will serve as a LAN/WAN expert and responsibilities will entail recommending and supporting the selection, development, deployment, monitoring, maintenance, and enhancement of DMG's network technologies for both traditional network and Azure networking. The role will be responsible for leading the network engineering group with direct reports.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, information systems or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in Network Design or Network Engineering.
  • 7 or more years of experience administering complex network environments.
  • 5 or more years of experience configuring Cisco IOS.
  • 5 or more years of experience with Layer 2 and Layer 3 protocols.
  • 2 or more years of experience with Azure Networking.
  • Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) required.

Nice To Haves

  • Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) is a plus.
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) is a plus.
  • ATT SD Velo WAN experience a plus.
  • Megaport Cloud experience a plus.
  • Previous healthcare experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement and maintain (break/fix) all network platform technologies including Cisco-based LAN, WAN, Wireless, VOIP and Security.
  • Establish and maintain the physical and logical architecture of all network components.
  • Perform switching/routing, load balancing and firewall administration.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex configuration and troubleshooting issues within a multi-vendor, multi-site infrastructure.
  • Ensure network fail-over capabilities between critical operational components and data centers.
  • Manage and provide technical guidance or training to mid-level and junior staff of the network group.
  • Handle escalations, resolve issues for mid-level and junior staff.
  • Define standards and best practices for network solutions and maintaining the network including creating and documenting process/procedure related to network design, monitoring, security and disaster recovery.
  • Ensure all network topology, technology solutions, team and individual work flow is documented and updated regularly.
  • Establish and maintain technical standards and configurations.
  • Document and perform change requests/management as necessary.
  • Establish, monitor, evaluate, and report key performance and key risk indicators (KPIs and KRIs) to provide leadership with visibility into the effectiveness of the Network Infrastructure.
  • Monitor network operations to identify performance and capacity issues.
  • Measure volume and performance of network traffic.
  • Identify utilization and performance issues.
  • Develop plans and implement new technologies and services to satisfy capacity and performance requirements.
