About The Position

Under the direction of the Imaging Medical Director and the Cardiovascular Director, The Lead Multi-Modal Technologist reports to the designated leader(s) within the Radiology/Imaging/Cardiovascular Department. This position performs diagnostic procedures with skill and without requiring constant supervision in more than one (1) modality/department, OR, two (2) specialties within the same modality/department. This position will require independent judgment and initiative of a technical level, level as well as a level of leadership that will allow them to provide direct feedback, guidance and support to their direct reports within their specialty modality(s).

Requirements

  • Satisfactory completion of formal training in an AMA approved school with at least 3 years of experience required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience required.
  • CRT & ARRT (R) required.
  • BLS Certification

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced Imaging Experience (MRI) Preferred.
  • ARRT (R)(MR) preferred.
  • ARMRIT accepted.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures staff compliance with policies, educational requirements, competencies, evaluations and licensures
  • Interacts with patients, families, guests, medical staff, and peers in a professional and timely manner.
  • Communicates effectively with the care team.
  • Operate all diagnostic radiology equipment (i.e. Fluoroscopy room, portable, and DR room). Perform all diagnostic radiology procedures associated with each type of equipment.
  • Perform diagnostic procedures with skill and without supervision in more than one (1) modality, OR, two (2) specialties within the same modality. EX: X-ray + CT, Ultrasound OB/GYN and Vascular, X-ray + NM).
  • Demonstrates compliance with hospital policies and procedures at all times.
  • Demonstrates strong leadership, organization, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrates ability to relate to clinical personnel and medical staff, as well as ability to interact well with the public.
  • Always Demonstrates Service Excellence standards.
  • Other duties as assigned.
