About The Position

The Lead MRI Technologist at Mass General Brigham Medical Group in Salem, NH is responsible for overseeing the MRI imaging modality within the Radiology Department. Requirements

• Must maintain required Licenses and Registrations for New Hampshire.
• ARRT Registered.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• At least three years of imaging experience.
• One year of leadership experience, including participation in ARRT Accreditation and staff scheduling.

Nice To Haves

• Epic Radiant experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Direct oversight of the MRI imaging modality.
• Ensure onsite MR safety throughout the facility.
• Manage hiring, training, and staff schedules/assignments.
• Track required equipment and staffing regulatory activities and center licensure.
• Ensure patient and staff safety.
• Facilitate professional development of modality technologists.
• Maintain quality of care and patient experience.
• Manage equipment and service for MRI.
• Serve as a point of escalation for modality technologists.
• Develop a team focused on quality of care and safe staffing levels.
• Act as a point person for other departments contacting the modality.
• Support on-site students within the modality when applicable.
• Step into direct patient clinical care schedule when necessary.
