About The Position

Our Lead Move Manager is the heartbeat of every job we run. You'll arrive on-site ahead of the team, set the tone, assign responsibilities, and ensure every project - whether a senior relocation, downsizing, or estate sale - is executed with precision and care from start to finish. You'll work directly with the owner and serve as manager-on-duty in the field, representing our brand with professionalism at every step. Our clients are often going through one of the hardest transitions of their lives, and how you show up matters. Note: professional movers handle furniture and heavy lifting. Your focus is leading the team through sorting, packing, staging, and resettling. Outside employment is welcome as long as there is no conflict of interest.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of supervisory or team lead experience
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills - patience and empathy are non-negotiable
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities on-site
  • Dependable and punctual - our clients and team count on you
  • Comfortable with problem-solving under pressure - when plans change, you adapt
  • Able to stay on your feet all day and lift household items up to 25 lbs repeatedly
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • High school diploma or equivalent required

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in moving, senior care, home services, or organizing strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Arrive 30 minutes before the team to assess each job and assign objectives
  • Lead team members through sorting, packing, staging, and resettling tasks
  • Manage all on-site activity for relocations, downsizing projects, and estate sales
  • Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for clients and their families
  • Ensure safety procedures are followed and all incidents are reported immediately
  • Maintain a respectful, warm, and calm presence throughout every project
  • Provide daily end-of-day progress reports to the owner via our project management system
  • Ensure all tools, supplies, and CT materials reach each job site
  • Support on-site training and mentorship of team members
  • Manage labor hours and ensure projects stay on schedule
  • Never leave a client's home unattended or unsecured
