About The Position

ConnectUs is seeking a systems-driven technology procurement leader to take ownership of our sourcing ecosystem across hundreds of vendors in the brand-new and secondary mobile device market. As the Lead, Mobility Procurement & Supply Chain Systems, you’ll architect and optimize the systems, tools, and supplier relationships that power ConnectUs’ procurement engine. This is not a routine purchasing position — it’s a leadership role for someone who thrives on complexity, builds scalable systems, and turns fragmented markets into predictable, data-driven supply chains. You’ll serve as the bridge between technology, process, and people — driving structure, transparency, and efficiency across every aspect of mobile device sourcing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply-chain operations (mobility or technology industry preferred).
  • Proven success managing vendor networks and purchasing programs at scale.
  • Advanced proficiency with ERP, CRM, or procurement systems — and a strong curiosity for learning new technologies.
  • Demonstrated experience optimizing complex processes through automation or data-driven tools.
  • Exceptional analytical, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • Leadership experience in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and continuously improve procurement workflows and data systems that support ConnectUs’ rapid growth and evolving customer needs.
  • Serve as the internal subject-matter expert for sourcing systems (ERP, CRM, vendor APIs, and marketplace tools).
  • Lead automation and integration initiatives that reduce manual processes and improve accuracy across purchasing, inventory, and logistics.
  • Create dashboards and reporting tools to track vendor performance, cost savings, and sourcing velocity.
  • Oversee a network of hundreds of global vendors across carriers, OEMs, and secondary marketplaces.
  • Develop and maintain a structured vendor rating system that prioritizes speed, reliability, and value.
  • Negotiate complex agreements, master purchase terms, and large-volume buys that align with business goals.
  • Identify, onboard, and nurture high-performing vendor relationships that create competitive advantage.
  • Monitor market trends, pricing shifts, and emerging technologies to inform sourcing strategies.
  • Collaborate with sales and operations to forecast device demand and align supply accordingly.
  • Leverage analytics to anticipate shortages, identify overstock risks, and propose strategic purchasing adjustments.
  • Partner with sales, operations, and finance leaders to synchronize purchasing timelines with customer deployments.
  • Act as the sourcing team’s key liaison to executive leadership — communicating insights, risks, and strategic opportunities.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across departments that depend on efficient device sourcing.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a small team of sourcing specialists and coordinators.
  • Instill a systems-thinking mindset across the team — empowering them to solve problems through technology and process, not just transactions.

Benefits

  • Competitive compensation and performance-based incentives.
  • Opportunity to build and lead systems that power enterprise-scale mobile deployments.
  • Professional growth within a fast-growing, technology-focused company.
  • A culture centered on innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
